Looking forward to the weekend!

Here is my latest list of finds, updates, whatever you wish to call them :)

1. A running friend of my has officially talked me into doing my first race. We are going to save the frogs. I told him yesterday that I can finally run 30 minutes without stopping (Thanks Kim and Tenelle for your wise advice!), and he got all excited and immediately went to looked up 5K races in the area. Don't worry frogs! Tom and I will save you!

2. Tom's shoes is going to be delivering shoes to Ethiopia (finally!). It's the next country on their list, and of course it peaked my interest. You order a pair of shoes for yourself and that also coveres a pair of shoes for someone in another country! They are running a special right now with free shipping. 3. My friends are doing well in Mozambique. Check out their links to the right. I'm so proud of them all, I almost burst when I think about it.

4. We are hard core at our house. We have yet to turn on our A/C. Aren't you impressed??

5. This house is for sale. Any takers?

6. I have a vacation coming up. I'm going to do nothing. Nothing at all. Won't that be delightful??

7. Another reason I love my neighborhood: Last night I went for a walk with my sister. We came up on a house where we could hear guitars playing. As we passed, two men were sitting on the porch, one playing an acoustic guitar and the other playing a ukulele. Beautiful.
