Phoenix was AMAZING!

I've long returned from the grand state of Arizona, and I have to say, that state has something going for it when it comes to their weather during winter time. I never knew it was POSSIBLE to be in your swimsuit next to the pool in February. My gosh!

Our time with Food for the Hungry friends was beautiful. I learned a lot and met some great new friends. I love seeing how God is not only using our community to impact the world, He's using MANY communities to do so. Even though the weather was a major highlight in my book, there is nothing like new friends and old friends together with time to spare. Below are some pictures from our time.

You should also know that we sat on a Untied plane at the GATE for two hours in Chicago on our way home. Why? Because the FUEL trucks were frozen because it was -3 outside!!! This whole situation would not have been so bad if we didn't have 3 friends still in sunny Arizona. Not to mention that we couldn't remember where our car was in the lot when we returned to the KC airport. You try finding your car in 0 degree weather with flip flops on. NOT. COOL.
